About the job
The Legal Service department is the central legal contact point of the Cantonal Police. It advises employees and managers on administrative and civil law matters, is responsible for police legislation and data protection, reviews contracts, and supports procurement. It also represents the Cantonal Police before authorities and courts, ensuring legal certainty, compliance, and good governance.
Your tasks
- Drafting decisions on file inspection
- Clarification of legal questions (from all areas of law)
- Drafting and adapting service orders, instructions, and other legally relevant documents
- Participation in projects and procurements as well as handling citizen complaints
- Telephone and written responses to legal questions from employees
- Drafting and reviewing contracts
Your profile
- You hold a Master’s degree and are willing to work 80-100% for nine months.
- You are flexible and resilient and work constructively in a team. You recognise problems and are capable of developing simple and pragmatic solutions.
- A very good command of German is required, and you also have good spoken French skills.
- You have an interest in police work or the police environment.
