The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital bringing together more than 2,000 collaborators. Its Rennaz Hospital Centre, inaugurated at the end of 2019, has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two geriatric and rehabilitation clinics as well as two medical on-call services.

To strengthen and develop our haematology activity within the Oncology-Haematology Department, we are looking for a:

Chief Clinical Physician M/F Specialist in Haematology (FMH or equivalent)

The main responsibilities of this position are

• Ensure diagnostic, therapeutic management and follow-up of patients presenting with benign and malignant haematological pathologies, mainly in an outpatient setting.
• Actively participate in the development of haematology activity within HRC.
• Work closely with oncologists, internists and other specialists in the institution to ensure multidisciplinary and coordinated care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to therapeutic decisions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of care quality and the development of clinical projects.
• Participate in the training and supervision of assistant physicians and other healthcare professionals.

We require

• Federal medical diploma or foreign diploma recognised by the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO).
• FMH specialist title in haematology or equivalent training recognised in Switzerland.
• Clinical experience in managing benign and malignant haematological pathologies.
• Strong interest in multidisciplinary work and developing a specialised activity within a regional hospital.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit and sense of responsibility.
• Dynamic, autonomous and motivated personality, wishing to invest sustainably in a developing team.
