Company Description
The Office for the Environment of the Liechtenstein National Administration (www.au.llv.li) is responsible for environmental protection, agriculture, nature, forestry, and the landscape. We are responsible for the sustainable management of these areas as well as for the protection of natural resources and habitats. Additionally, we oversee the agendas of international environmental and climate policy.
International and national environmental legislation as well as the need for coordination on various environmental topics are constantly increasing. Furthermore, infrastructure projects require the implementation of environmental impact assessments and the accompaniment of strategic environmental assessments. For this, we are looking for a specialist with legal understanding, a sense for process management, and communication skills.
Job Description
You feel at home in the following areas of activity:
- Collaboration and internal coordination within the office on construction dossiers as well as environmentally relevant external sectoral plans and legislative proposals
- Advice and law enforcement concerning environmental impact assessments and strategic environmental assessments
- Performing tasks in the areas of environmental data management, digitalisation, process management, and IT
Qualifications
You are particularly characterised by the following for this position:
- Completed university degree in the field of environment, planning, or law, or equivalent
- Further training in the areas of activity is desirable
- Sound knowledge of environmental law, especially in the area of environmental impact assessment (EIA) and strategic environmental assessment (SEA)
- Experience in project and process management
- Affinity for IT and digitalisation topics
