About the job
In order to ensure the quality of outpatient and inpatient care and to guarantee participation in pre- and post-graduate training in neurology (clinic C), the medical management of the Fribourg hospital is looking for a
Consultant or Deputy Consultant in Neurology
60 - 70 %
Your mission:
- participate in quality care of patients in the stroke unit and hospital wards
- participate in outpatient consultations
- support, as far as possible, the neurophysiological activity (in particular Doppler and/or ENMG) of the hospital and outpatient consultation
- participate in the on-call service
- supervise assistant doctors and participate in their training
- participate in multicentre clinical studies or those developed locally
- participate in teaching students from the University of Fribourg
Your profile:
- FMH specialist in neurology (or equivalent) or in the final year of training as a neurologist
- at least 3 years of experience in neurology in an A clinic
- ideally SSNC certificate or equivalent for Doppler, ENMG, and/or EEG
- proficiency in French (written and spoken) and German (spoken)
- dynamic, open and collegial personality
- interest in general neurology, teaching and clinical research
