As soon as possible, we are looking for you as an electrician or mechatronics technician for maintenance of overhead line and energy systems (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the Basel location.

We qualify you internally during working hours and with full salary to become a rail system mechanic specialising in electrical engineering for the overhead line and energy systems area at DB InfraGO AG. Through regular training, you will continuously learn more, enabling you to be deployed on ever new and exciting systems. Your tasks:

• You will go through our internal qualification programme, regularly attend further training and continuously learn more
• Together with your team, you will maintain the overhead line systems and energy systems in the Basel region
• You will independently carry out inspection and maintenance work on catenary systems (e.g. overhead lines, conductor rails, earthing systems)
• At the energy systems, you will inspect various installations such as switch heaters, lighting systems, transformer stations and supply networks
• In addition, you will ensure the reliable execution of repair and fault clearance work
• Your work begins and ends at your central base; all necessary materials, equipment, measuring instruments and vehicles will be provided to you
• Your high-quality work clothing will also be provided and cleaned
• You have successfully completed training as an electrician or mechatronics technician, e.g. as an industrial electrician, electrical systems assembler, electronics technician for building and infrastructure systems, or in a comparable profession
• You bring experience in the maintenance and servicing of technical systems
• You are eager to develop further and learn new things
• You are physically resilient and have no problem working at heights and outdoors
• You are willing to work shifts (night, weekend and public holiday work) and participate in on-call duty
• Reliability, responsibility, teamwork and flexibility characterise you
• For your flexibility, it is important to have a valid class B driving licence. However, you can also obtain this after starting with us
