To strengthen our team in Thun, we are looking for an

Veterinary Practice Assistant Night and/or Weekend Duty (m/f/d)

Flexible / negotiable workload

This position is deliberately aimed at VPAs who wish to work exclusively night and/or weekend shifts – for example, as a returner after a family break, alongside training, or in addition to another part-time role.

Your role with us:

As a VPA on night or weekend duty, you take on a responsible role with close contact to animals. You work closely with the on-duty veterinarians, care for and monitor inpatients, and contribute significantly to medical care outside regular operating hours.

You assist with emergencies as well as diagnostic and therapeutic measures and ensure smooth clinic operations during night and weekend shifts. Exciting cases and a high degree of personal responsibility await you.

Diploma as Veterinary Practice Assistant EFZ

Enjoyment in working with animals and clients, also in emergency and exceptional situations

Team spirit and good communication skills

Good German language skills and computer literacy
