About the job
Tasks
- Management of the medical-therapeutic treatment of mentally ill people, usually of retirement age or with age-typical illnesses
- Implementation of advanced treatment concepts as well as active shaping and networking of the service
- Participation in the Mobile Team (home treatment) in the interprofessional team
- Consultation and liaison service in elderly and care centres
- Supervision of assistant doctors
- Integrative therapeutic work in the interprofessional team and provision of outpatient on-call service
- Running own outpatient clinic
Profile
- Completed specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy or advanced specialist training, preferably with an existing or intended focus title "Geriatric Psychiatry and Psychotherapy" and good somatic knowledge especially related to age
- Team-oriented, resilient and reflective personality
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Very good German skills (Level C1)
- Swiss or EU medical diploma
- Driving licence category B
