For our "Water, Waste to Energy & Environment" branch within the "Water & Environment" unit, we are looking for an intern for the Geneva office,
Intern (M/F/X) on the Aire WWTP project
YOUR NEW ROLE:
For this internship, lasting 6 to 12 months, you will join a multidisciplinary team that embodies the core values of our company: solidarity, passion for complex and large-scale projects, innovation spirit, and friendliness.
We are looking for a motivated intern to join the general planner’s team on the Aire wastewater treatment plant construction site currently under construction.
Supporting the General Works Management, the intern will participate in the following activities:
- Site organization: preparation and follow-up of meetings with the client, contractors responsible for the various lots (civil engineering, equipment, automation…), and design offices.
- Progress monitoring: assisting in updating schedules, monitoring performance indicators, identifying critical points.
- Reporting: drafting minutes, updating dashboards, summarizing ongoing actions.
- Execution control:
- Verification of compliance with current standards and regulations,
- Monitoring adherence to hygiene and safety rules on site, as well as specific instructions,
- Control of proper execution of works according to studies and planned scheduling for the different trades,
- Verification of completion according to best practices.
- Active participation in coordination:
- Attendance at internal and external coordination meetings.
- Participation in tests and commissioning operations.
- Site life:
- Contribution to the management of the site base camp.
- Monitoring access controls.
- Document management and drafting of minutes.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in various studies of the unit in the field of water treatment.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
- At the end of Bachelor’s or Master’s studies at a University of Applied Sciences or Federal Institute of Technology in civil engineering or environmental sciences, you have a particular interest in water treatment and construction.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; you enjoy exchange and teamwork.
- Organizational skills and rigor.
- Fluent in French (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of English and/or German (an asset).
