Looking for new challenges in tunnel construction? For our exciting tunnel projects, we are seeking at our locations in Zurich and/or Bern, starting immediately or by arrangement, a committed tunnel construction engineer who wishes to develop further and take the next step in their career.

At least 3-5 years of professional experience in underground construction is required.

The role includes working on exciting and diverse tunnel construction projects (e.g. Zimmerberg Base Tunnel, Grimsel, Brütten Tunnel, 2nd Gotthard Road Tunnel). Embedded in a technically strong and collegial team, which together with your technical and leadership skills leads to successful project execution. Modern technologies and methods in tunnel construction and planning (BIM) as well as short decision-making paths and development prospects characterise the working environment.

TASKS THAT MOTIVATE

• Significant involvement in the largest tunnel construction projects in Switzerland
• Management of projects across all SIA phases
• Creation and implementation of technical concepts, project documents and calculations within the project team and taking on technical project leadership
• Collaboration in multidisciplinary project teams and engineering partnerships

QUALIFICATIONS THAT CONVINCE

• Completed engineering degree (Bachelor/Master) in civil engineering or a comparable field
• Professional experience (> 3-5 years) in underground construction, preferably in conventional tunnel construction
• Interest in complex and innovative infrastructure projects in underground construction
• Team-oriented and structured working style
• Good German language skills, both spoken and written
