We are looking for a Global Reporting Lead in Basel, who takes ownership of our FP&A reporting landscape, ensures data accuracy, and drives the development and automation of reporting. In this hands-on role, you will work directly within reports, build analyses, and validate figures, while providing functional guidance to the reporting team and collaborating closely with stakeholders across Finance and IT.

Global Reporting Lead 100%
Your responsibilities
- Own the accuracy and consistency of all FP&A reports, including management reporting, regional packages, and KPI dashboards
- Act as quality gate before report publication through systematic validation and cross-checking of financial data
- Drive the development and automation of the reporting landscape (Power BI, DWH, SAP Datasphere)
- Define and implement standards for reporting, data modelling, and design
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies across reports and continuously improve reporting processes
- Provide functional guidance and prioritization for the reporting team
- Define and implement reporting, data modeling, and design standards. Act as the key contact for reporting topics and data quality issues.
- Collaborate closely with Finance leadership and IT/Data teams to ensure alignment
- Leveraging AI tools and technologies to optimize reporting workflows, automate recurring analyses, and enhance data quality
Your qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Informatics, or a related field
- 5–7 years of experience in Financial Reporting or FP&A in an international environment
- Strong expertise in Power BI (incl. DAX, data modelling) and solid understanding of DWH architectures
- Practical experience in applying AI tools to financial reporting, data analysis, or process automation
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently on data, reports, and analyses
- Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented working style with a strong focus on quality
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide others without formal authority
- Fluency in English and German; additional languages are a plus
