In doing so, you will shape far more than the operational day-to-day business; your tasks include:
· Taking responsibility for production regarding safety, quality, capacity, on-time delivery, productivity, and costs.
· Optimising production, further developing cost and manufacturing cost transparency as a basis for sound investment and production decisions.
· Leading and developing your department heads to create efficient and self-responsible teams.
· Consistent further development of our Lean and Shopfloor Management with SQDIP+PI, OEE, KVP/Kaizen and clear KPI control.
· Increasing efficiency, degree of automation, and plant performance.
· Planning, prioritising, and implementing strategic CAPEX and automation investments.
· Ensuring high quality and compliance standards, including in the context of ISO 13485 and DIN EN 15085.
· Actively shaping the ERP/MES integration and digitalisation roadmap.
· Building scalable production structures to support further company growth and internationalisation.
· Active participation in the extended management team and contributing the production perspective to strategic decisions.
You are an experienced leader from an industrial production environment, combining technical competence with entrepreneurial thinking and strong implementation skills.
Ideally, you bring:
· 10 years of leadership experience at the level of production, manufacturing, department, or plant management with responsibility for multiple areas and management levels.
· Technical training in the metal/sheet metal sector with advanced training at HF/FH level or a comparable qualification and experience.
· Solid experience in metal/sheet metal processing or a comparable industrial manufacturing environment.
· Practical experience with Lean Production, Shopfloor Management, KVP/Kaizen, 5S, OEE, and value stream orientation.
· Experience with machinery, plant, and automation investments as well as CAPEX projects.
· Strong understanding of occupational safety, quality, and process stability.
· Experience or strong affinity with ERP/MES and the digitalisation of production processes.
· Very good German and English skills.
· Experience in regulated industries such as medical technology, rail, semiconductor, defence technology, or aerospace, as well as in a growth- or transformation-oriented environment, is an advantage.
