Nations Campus – Extracurricular Activities Department

Why this role is important:
As part of our commitment to multilingualism and the maintenance of mother tongues, the Nations Campus is seeking a dynamic Greek teacher. You will join the World Language Programme (WLP), whose mission is to support the learning of heritage languages and promote linguistic diversity. Your role will be to create a stimulating environment where students can not only learn the language but also connect deeply with Greek culture.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver Greek lessons adapted to the different levels and ages of students (Primary and/or Secondary).
- Design interactive lessons encouraging oral expression, reading, and writing, while integrating cultural elements.
- Assess students’ progress and maintain regular communication with families and programme coordination.
- Manage attendance and occasionally participate in language-related events (open days, cultural celebrations).
Profile sought:
Skills and Experience
- Teaching diploma or university degree considered equivalent in the field of languages.
- Proven experience teaching Greek to children or adolescents, ideally in an international context.
- Fluency in Greek (native level or C2). Good command of English or French is necessary for internal communication.
Your personal qualities:
- Excellent pedagogical skills and rapport with young people.
- Ability to work independently while integrating into an international team.
- Flexibility, creativity, and enthusiasm for language teaching.
