The GHOL Maternity, an integral part of the Parents-Children Pole, welcomes expectant mothers in a service combining safety, warmth, and comfort. Our team consists of midwives, assistants, gynaecologists, paediatricians, and anaesthetists who care for labouring women 24/7 and are dedicated to supporting them during this unique moment.
Job description:
- In your new role, your duties impact the quality of patient care. Your role will notably include:
- Conducting deliveries in the delivery room
- Participating in the management of caesarean sections in the operating theatre
- Performing newborn checks at birth and carrying out neonatal resuscitation if necessary
- Ensuring follow-up care for patients and newborns in the postpartum period
- Mobilising network resources to efficiently organise the families’ return home
- Conducting prenatal consultations as well as late pregnancy follow-ups (from the 37th week)
- Being actively involved in promoting breastfeeding
Required profile:

Education level:
- Bachelor HES-SO in midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by the CRS
- Three years of hospital experience required; experience in a university centre is a plus
