• Participation in the operation and further development of our Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) including maintenance, optimisation and scaling of a modern infrastructure
• Operation and further development of the hybrid server landscape (Windows/Linux) in the team including automation as well as implementation and compliance with security requirements
• Technical support for servers and clients (Windows/Linux) with analysis and resolution of complex faults using scripting and appropriate tools
• Support in client management through introduction and maintenance of central management and security solutions (e.g. Privileged Access Management (PAM), Endpoint Security etc.)
• Monitoring, checking and ensuring data backup as well as support in restore and recovery processes
• Responsibility for licence management including maintenance and optimisation of licence models and processes
• Participation in incident response as well as active intervention and troubleshooting in case of faults in the server environment
• Participation in IT/OT projects and technical project work at the interface between classical IT and industrial OT

• Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ
• Solid fundamentals in Windows and Linux environments as well as initial practical experience in server operation
• Basic knowledge of virtualisation, IT infrastructure and IT security is required
• Experience or solid basic understanding in client support (Windows/Linux) as well as handling common management and security solutions is an advantage
• Basic knowledge in automation and scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Bash)
• Understanding of backup and restore processes as well as initial experience in troubleshooting and incident handling
• Very good German skills as well as English skills at least at B1 level
• Structured, independent working style and the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new topics
