About the job

Helvetas is a Swiss organisation for international development cooperation and humanitarian aid. Our goal is a just world in which all people live self-determined lives in dignity and security, use natural resources sustainably, and care for the environment.
For our Marketing and Communications department in Zurich, we are looking for a reliable, energetic, and service-oriented individual to strengthen our Data & Analytics team starting in July or by arrangement.
Would you like to contribute with smart CRM solutions and digital processes to make our fundraising and communication activities even more effective?
As an Application Manager, you will play a central role in the further development of our CRM and fundraising tool based on Microsoft Dynamics 365. You ensure data and process quality, support our users in their daily work, and actively drive the digitalisation and automation of our processes.
YOUR TASKS
- Ensuring high quality of our donor data through conceptual data management as well as developing creative and sustainable solution approaches
- Maintenance, analysis, and further development of interfaces including troubleshooting
- Recording, analysing, and specifying business requirements in collaboration with marketing and fundraising teams
- Coordinating implementations and deployments with external IT partners
- Supporting the development and optimisation of online and offline donor journeys
- Providing support and acting as the first point of contact for users, as well as documenting, visualising, and introducing new processes and functions
- Onboarding and training users and building a modern learning environment
- Participating in projects for the further development, digitalisation, and automation of the CRM and fundraising tool
- Taking responsibility for sub-projects
- Responsibility as a practical trainer as well as professional guidance and support of our apprentices in the Data & Analytics team
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Higher education or further training in information technology, business informatics, business administration, or a related field – alternatively comparable professional experience
- Ability to analyse complex requirements clearly and translate them into clear specifications
- Enthusiasm for CRM, marketing automation, and data
- Initial experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or comparable CRM systems is an advantage; career changers with a strong IT affinity and willingness to learn new technologies are also welcome
- High technical affinity as well as solution-oriented and structured working style
- Ideally experience in fundraising or marketing
- Enjoy working with diverse stakeholders and have a strong service orientation
- Confident German language skills as well as good English skills
