Automobile mechatronics technicians perform system tests on commercial vehicles with internal combustion engines and alternative drive concepts, as well as diagnostic work on mechatronic systems. They also carry out maintenance and repair work on the vehicle systems. These systems include chassis, engine, and drive, as well as electrical, electronic, comfort, and safety systems. In commercial vehicles, additional air pressure systems are checked and programmed, as well as, among other things, trailer steering systems and the air suspension system diagnosed.Requirements
