The Lerchenbühl Foundation supports and promotes children, adolescents and young adults with special needs at the start of their future with a comprehensive coaching, education and housing offer. Tasks
As a teacher, you design and deliver action-oriented lessons according to the guidelines of the special school concept. You plan and design your lessons with professional expertise and orientate yourself to the individual needs and support goals of the children and adolescents. Together with the class teachers, you create the students’ development plans and share responsibility for their implementation in everyday school life. If necessary, you write subject-specific reports and assessments and contribute your observations and professional expertise to the support planning. You maintain regular communication with parents, specialist agencies and the social pedagogy contact persons and work closely with the interdisciplinary team. In addition, you actively participate in school projects, camps, internal training sessions and other events of the institution, thus contributing to a lively and appreciative school culture.
Requirements
You hold a teaching diploma or a comparable qualification. Ideally, you have experience teaching children and adolescents with special educational and support needs. You enjoy working in a team, appreciate interdisciplinary exchange and understand how to address different learning prerequisites. You are a committed, reflective and flexible person who enjoys accompanying and supporting children and adolescents in their development. Independent working is a matter of course for you and you are willing to actively contribute to the further development of the school’s offerings.
