Automation Engineer Software (a) 80% - 100%

This is your job - your main tasks at Gilgen Logistics AG

• Carrying out efficient and economical project planning up to handover
• Realisation of orders regarding specifications, scope of services, deadlines, and costs as well as work-related external requirements
• Development of software modules and/or system software
• Commissioning work of the systems on site
• Regular project progress checks in coordination with the overall project manager
• Writing system documentation and coordinating training and instructions (for company as well as customer maintenance and operating personnel)

These qualifications are important to us

• Technical basic training (automation technician, electronics technician, etc.)
• Further education at FH / HF level in electrical engineering / automation
• Several years of experience in automation and drive technology
• Knowledge of programming with Siemens TIA Portal as well as network technology
• Very good knowledge of German
• Willingness to travel domestically and abroad (30% - 40%)

As the icing on the cake, you bring

• Experience in plant construction / system business (intralogistics)
• Foreign language skills in English and French
• Knowledge of high-level languages (C++, C#, Java, Python)
