Your tasks
- Teaching at Bachelor and Master levels as well as in continuing education in the field of environmental hydraulics (in particular rehabilitation of hydropower, restoration of flowing waters, flood protection, surges and sags, hydrodynamic simulation, urban water management, green infrastructure)
- Supervision of student projects
- Development, management and implementation of applied research projects, mainly in the research focus "Soil and Water", in collaboration with researchers from the Institute for Construction and Environmental Technologies iTEC
- Participation in the development of continuing education offers
Desired profile
- Master's degree (ETH/Uni/FH) in hydraulics, civil engineering or equivalent education
- Doctorate or equivalent research achievements
- Several years of professional experience in an engineering office in the field of environmental hydraulics or comparable experience
- Advanced knowledge in numerical modelling
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in German or French with very good knowledge of the other language; good English skills
Additional information
- The position as tenure-track assistant professor FH is limited to four years. Upon positive evaluation, conversion to an associate professor FH is planned.
