Apprenticeship as a Businessman/Businesswoman

At its meeting on 4 November 2014, the Triesen municipal council unanimously approved a new apprenticeship concept. From now on, the Triesen municipal administration will offer an apprenticeship as a businessman/businesswoman annually. Previously, the apprenticeships were filled on a three-year cycle.

The Triesen municipal administration intends to fill an apprenticeship as a businessman/businesswoman every year in the future. With the approval of the new apprenticeship concept, the municipal council unanimously supports a sustainable vocational training offer within the municipal administration and simultaneously offers several young people the opportunity to complete their basic commercial training in a very versatile environment.

The training within the municipal administration aims to impart ideal skills and competencies to young trainees, preparing and qualifying them for their future professional lives. The trainees will work on a rotational basis in all specialist areas of the administration. This allows them to acquire broad and in-depth knowledge.

The demands on apprentices in all professions and also on those responsible for training have increased significantly in recent years. The municipality of Triesen is prepared to devote itself even more intensively to the task and additional effort of providing thorough training for businesspeople and young junior staff in the service sector.

In addition, the municipality of Triesen will also increasingly offer vocational training in crafts for the professions of "forester" and "facility management specialist" in the future.
