The Risk Management SL AM CH team takes responsibility for the independent management and control of asset management at the Zurich location. The team analyses and monitors the activities of the various areas with regard to qualitative and quantitative risks and reports directly to management as well as to the supervisory authorities.

In this interesting environment, we are looking for a fixed-term 12 months Senior Operational Risk / Business Continuity Manager (80-100%) in Zurich, who as a good team player will take care of the following areas of responsibility:

The Role

• Advising and supporting the risk and control officers of the various areas in identifying and assessing operational risks and controls (Risk & Control Self-Assessments), operational incidents as well as analysing weaknesses and defining measures to reduce risks
• BCM & Crisis Management: BCM Manager for SLAM at the Zurich location, developing and coordinating training and exercises for the crisis team as well as contributing to the further development and operationalisation of the divisional Business Continuity Management Framework
• Ensuring the appropriate implementation of internal and external requirements for managing operational risks including controls according to the applied ORM methodology
• Regular reporting to management and the division's Risk Management on operational risks, incidents, IKS as well as the organisation's risk behaviour

Expertise

• University or university of applied sciences degree
• Several years of professional experience in asset management / financial services in the functions of risk management, process management and/or audit

• Several years of experience in Business Continuity Management / Operational Resilience

• Strong understanding and user knowledge of Operational Risk Management (ORM)
• Advanced conceptual and analytical skills as well as good process thinking ability
• You possess self-motivation, flexibility, teamwork skills and work with great personal responsibility
• Your working style is solution- and result-oriented with targeted customer and service orientation and a strong awareness of quality
• You enjoy contact with customers, partners and employees
• Very good written and spoken communication in German and English
