The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur trains around 120 apprentices in 7 different professions annually. Our training programmes are practical, varied, and open up many career opportunities for you. With us, you work in a lively, meaningful environment.In the three-year basic vocational training as a Hotel and Housekeeping Specialist, you are responsible for tasks in the housekeeping area.
Your Tasks
- Cleaning rooms and laundry as well as operating washing and ironing machines
- Decorations
- Preparing and serving simple meals
- Managing storage rooms and materials
- Organising the dishwashing
Your Profile
- Secondary school A or B with good grades
- Service awareness and organisational talent
- Practical skills and reliability
- A sense of order and hygiene
- Physical mobility
