About the job
The open child and youth work operates a meeting place and carries out socio-cultural projects. For a maternity cover, we are looking for a motivated, humorous, and resilient personality as a child and youth worker (40 - 50%) for a fixed term from 1.1.2027 – 31.7.2027.
Your Tasks
- Supervision of young people during the opening hours of the Roxx youth centre in Murten
- Outreach youth work in the living environment of the young people
- Accompaniment of leisure activities and projects with children and young people
- Promotion of participation of children and young people
- Individual conversations with young people on various life issues
Your Profile
- Training in social work or equivalent qualification
- Experience in child and youth work or socio-cultural animation
- Ability to build relationships and network
- Willingness to work flexibly – this also includes evenings and weekends
- German or French speaking with good knowledge of the other language
