About the job
The Case Management / Social Service supports all clinics of the Cantonal Hospital Aarau as a specialised unit for discharge organisation and social law advice. We maintain contact with patients, their relatives, as well as external bodies such as cost bearers, service providers, and advisory centres.Social Worker

Your tasks
- You advise patients and their relatives on personal, social, legal, and financial matters during hospital treatment.
- Together with patients, you develop situation-appropriate solutions. This includes clarifying social circumstances, mediating material assistance, and planning an efficient hospital discharge.
- You work in an interdisciplinary context and utilise diverse contacts with external bodies such as social insurance, authorities, and healthcare service providers.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a comparable diploma
- Professional experience, preferably in healthcare
- Solution-oriented and independent working style and enjoyment of a dynamic hospital environment
- Ability to communicate clearly
