Site Manager or Project Manager Roofing / Sheet Metal Work

You know your way around roofs, think ahead and like to take responsibility? Are you looking for a varied role in the greater Thun area where you independently manage and coordinate projects in roofing and sheet metal work? Then you are exactly right with us – YOU are WELCOME here!
Here is what you will do
- Independent management and leadership of projects in the areas of roofing and sheet metal work
- Organisation, coordination and supervision of new construction, renovation and refurbishment work
- Installation of underroofs, thermal insulation, vapour barriers as well as laying of roofing materials
- Planning and coordination of sheet metal work such as gutters, flashings, metal connections, coverings and detailed executions
- Leading and motivating employees on site
- Coordination with clients, architects, site managers, suppliers and internal project teams
- Responsibility for quality, deadlines, costs and occupational safety
- Preparation of measurements, reports, material orders and change orders
- Ensuring professional execution according to plans, specifications and SIA standards
- Assisting in apprentice training and passing on your expertise
What you bring with you
- Completed training as a roofer EFZ, sheet metal worker EFZ or comparable training in the building envelope sector
- Further training as site manager Polybau, project manager, group leader or equivalent professional experience
- Solid experience in roofing and ideally also in sheet metal work
- Good knowledge in planning, organisation and handling of construction sites
- Independence, sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
- Enjoyment in leading employees and direct customer contact
- Structured, solution-oriented and reliable working style
- Team-oriented, likeable and motivated personality
- Driving licence category B
