Experienced Medical Billing Clerk (M/F) – Medionline / TARDOC – Hand Surgery

The "Hand Clinic – Geneva" is a human-scale surgical centre specialising in conditions and injuries of the hand, wrist, and elbow. The Clinic offers all the services and quality guarantees of care, surgical treatment, and follow-up that one can expect from a group of highly qualified, competent, and experienced specialists. Additionally, an occupational therapy service provides tailored and specific rehabilitation therapy for our patients.

We are looking for a 100% experienced medical billing clerk, proficient in TARDOC pricing and billing via Medionline, to join our administrative team in a professional, dynamic, and human-scale environment.

Your responsibilities

• Managing billing for medical consultations and operating theatre interventions according to current tariffs (TARDOC), via Medionline
• Billing private interventions according to AMGE tariffs
• Following up on invoices in collaboration with the Medical Fund
• Handling returns, requests for information, and corrections with insurance companies
• Verifying and checking the accuracy of billing data
• Collaborating with doctors and administrative teams
• Various administrative tasks related to the Clinic's operations.

Your profile

• Training in the medical field or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in medical billing in Switzerland
• Good command of TARDOC pricing and Medionline software
• Knowledge of surgical billing is an advantage
• Preparation of reports using Excel
• Good IT skills, especially Excel (importing, structuring, and analysing data)
• Rigour, autonomy, discretion, and a sense of responsibility
• Excellent organisation, priority management, and team spirit
• Excellent command of French, both spoken and written, and B2 level in English.
