Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the financial accounting of several Swiss companies including general and subsidiary ledgers
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER
- Management of fixed asset accounting as well as handling provisions and accruals
- Execution of intercompany reconciliations and internal group billing
- Reconciliation and monitoring of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash balances
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns in compliance with legal requirements
- Point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders
- Preparation of financial analyses, reports, and well-founded decision-making bases for management
- Budgeting and forecasting processes
- Further development of key figures, reporting structures, and financial control instruments
- Active participation in the further development of financial processes and close collaboration within the team
Profile
- Commercial basic training with a Federal VET Diploma or equivalent
- Federal Diploma in Finance and Accounting (mandatory)
- Several years of professional experience in accounting with responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Experience in an international environment is an advantage
- Very good Excel skills and a strong affinity for numbers, data, and systems
- Experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft D365, SAP, Abacus
- Excellent German skills and fluent English skills in spoken and written form
- Analytical and interconnected thinking
- Independent, reliable, and precise working style
- Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for actively driving topics forward
- Resilient personality with the ability to maintain an overview even under high workload
- Team-oriented and communicative working style
- Openness to a dynamic environment with changing priorities
