Measuring blood sugar, learning nursing know-how with medical basics, and gaining an understanding of the living environments of older people – all this is conveyed by nursing professions and further training at the Im Brüel Retirement Home.
As a trainee at "Im Brüel," you can actively shape your training. The theoretical knowledge flows directly into practice. Flat hierarchies and well-documented processes ensure continuous development in procedures.
Every trainee at the Im Brüel Retirement Home has a personal professional mentor who guides them safely through the training. In direct exchange with the trainees, the trainers ensure a varied and practice-oriented education. Every year, there is a trainee event with an exciting participatory programme (e.g., escape room).
Fixed learning times and learning support help to work through the learning content and apply it in a task-related manner. Deficiencies can thus be quickly identified and resolved within a short time by the trainers.
Activities in nursing professions require responsible action and a high degree of reliability. The trust relationship between nursing staff and elderly people is very important. Familiar faces in work shifts and respectful intergenerational interaction are all the more important. In addition, one works very closely together in a nursing team.
A digital understanding in training professions is also becoming increasingly important. Nursing activities must be documented electronically and be traceable. Trainees record care data on tablets. Later, these are automatically transferred to the care documentation tool.
Besides their own apprenticeship, a trainee at "Im Brüel" gains insights into other professional fields (facility management specialist, cook, activation specialist). The interdisciplinary exchange broadens one’s own horizon and mutual understanding of area-specific processes.
