Your mission

- Act as scientific and quality referent for methods, analytical performance, controls, complex investigations, and method limitations.
- Advise prescribers and internal teams on test indications, result interpretation, and relevant diagnostic follow-ups.
- Participate in the design, validation/verification, deployment, and re-evaluation of diagnostic methods.
- Monitor CQI/CQE, interlaboratory comparisons, quality trends, non-conformities, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Contribute to audit preparation, risk analyses, document changes, and continuous quality system improvement.
- Train and support technicians, new employees, and scientific colleagues on analytical, technical, interpretative, and quality aspects.
What you bring
- FAMH title in medical genetics required.
- Solid experience in diagnostic molecular genetics, with very good mastery of NGS, variant interpretation, and report writing.
- In-depth knowledge of constitutional genetics and the classical foundations of medical genetics.
- Strongly desired knowledge in the somatic field, particularly in molecular pathology, molecular oncology, and clinico-biological interpretation of tumour variants.
- Knowledge in constitutional and/or somatic cytogenetics is welcome.
- Very good quality culture: ISO 15189, method validation/verification, traceability, document management, CQI/CQE, audits, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to interact with clinicians, pathologists, technical teams, biologists, secretariat, and quality functions.
- Rigor, autonomy, critical thinking, sense of responsibility, and ease in medico-scientific exchanges.
- French essential; good knowledge of scientific English required. German is an asset.
What we offer you
- An exciting and dynamic working environment with much internationality
- Assumption of responsibility and the development of your potential
- A positive working atmosphere with a partnership-based collaboration and an appreciative and recognising company culture
