Tasks

Execute packaging tasks per guidelines, operating automated and manual systems.
Address equipment malfunctions and perform troubleshooting as needed.
Conduct quality checks and maintain cleanliness in compliance with GMP standards.

Skills

Completed vocational training in Pharma or related fields, or extensive experience in pharmaceutical processing.
Strong technical understanding of complex machinery operation and troubleshooting.
Fluent in German, both written and spoken, with a focus on quality in GMP settings.

At our location in Bern, we are looking for a Packaging specialist within the Production department:

Pharma Specialist

Responsibilities:

Packaging according to work instructions, operating various system components (automatic as well as manual packaging)
In case of malfunction: acknowledging the system and troubleshooting
Performing material incoming inspections, line clearances, and in-process controls
Carrying out general order and cleaning tasks
Proactive participation in process optimizations / assistance in implementation
Performing all activities in compliance with GMP guidelines, work, hygiene regulations & quality standards
After additional qualification: releasing the system, rechecking line clearances, operating the packaging system as well as various bookings & controls in SAP

Qualifications and Work Experience

Completed vocational training in the pharmaceutical field or in the food industry or many years of experience in pharmaceutical and packaging technology processing
Technical understanding and interest in handling complex systems (setup, troubleshooting)
Fluent German skills (spoken & written)
Quality awareness in a GMP environment
Willingness to work shifts
