For our team "Warehouse and Transport" in the Logistics Department, we are looking for energetic support from 1 April 2027 or by arrangement.Logistics Specialist / Driver
Protection & Rescue Zurich (SRZ) unites, as a service department of the Security Department, the professional and militia fire brigade, the ambulance service, and the operations control centre (ELZ) for emergency calls 144 and 118. In addition, civil protection, fire police, and a training centre with an affiliated Higher Technical School for Rescue Professions (HFRB) belong to the largest civilian rescue organisation in Switzerland. Intervention and prevention units protect and rescue people, animals, property, and the environment around the clock in the city of Zurich, at Zurich Airport, and in the agglomeration.
Tasks
- Carrying out various transports with trucks as well as with trailer combinations / articulated lorries of categories C, CE, B and BE
- Inventory in the main and secondary warehouses as well as cleaning work on the vehicles
- Management of goods receipt/goods issue as well as the loan warehouse using the ERP warehouse management system SAP
Profile
- Completed apprenticeship as a logistics specialist, road transport specialist or in another technical profession
- Mandatory driving licence categories C & BE (CE additionally advantageous)
- Several years of professional experience as a driver or in the warehouse as well as good geographical knowledge of the city of Zurich
- Independent, precise working method, high service orientation as well as physical resilience and ability to work in a team
- Good communication skills in German (spoken/written) as well as good user knowledge of MS Office / M365
