The Flumserei is a conversion project with history and future. The former industrial site of the Spinnerei Spoerry is being further developed into a diverse place to live and work. Here, historic building fabric meets new uses and modern requirements.
As a construction manager, you are directly on site in Flums for Halter and help shape the transformation of this special industrial site. You take responsibility for the successful execution of a demanding conversion project, where careful handling of the existing fabric is as important as economical and practical solutions.
Your area of responsibility
- Responsibility for execution regarding costs, quality, and deadlines
- Coordination and leadership of the involved contractors as well as ensuring a smooth construction process
- Control and monitoring of execution – from scheduling and tenders to successful handover
- Conducting contractor negotiations, construction and coordination meetings, as well as inspections
- Checking execution planning and ensuring quality requirements on site
- Active contribution to economical and practical solutions together with the project team
What you bring with you
- Several years of experience in the execution of conversion and renovation projects
- Solid construction-related education, complemented by further training as a federally certified construction manager or technician HF/TS
- Experience in the environment of a total or general contractor is an advantage
- Entrepreneurial thinking as well as a pronounced awareness of costs, deadlines, and quality
- Leadership qualities, negotiation skills, and an independent, structured way of working
- Winning communication, assertiveness, and enjoyment in developing solutions together as a team
