- Support the implementation and delivery of Global Compliance Management Services (GCMS) projects across all areas of compliance, which can extend to preparing and delivering local tax/finance filings in Switzerland.
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of technological solutions, such as Digital Gateway (KPMG's worldwide data, workflow, and analytics platform) and KBAT (BEPS Pillar 2 engine), to enhance the provision of our GCMS solutions.
- Prepare materials for, and actively participate in, Tax Reimagined Discovery Workshops with target clients.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and delivery of tax transformation solutions, ranging from full tax operating model reviews to specific aspects such as process redesign, establishing control frameworks, upskilling & change management, and technology implementations.
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day project activities under the guidance of senior team members, including liaising with international clients and KPMG overseas teams and supporting the resolution of issues.
- Work closely with offshore resources, reviewing their output and providing feedback to help ensure high-quality delivery on client projects.
- Help prepare content for regular governance meetings to update clients on project status, risks, and opportunities.
- Support the business development process by preparing proposals, presentations, and other materials to help progress Tax Reimagined leads to sales.
- Experience in Tax Services, ideally within a Big Four or consulting professional services firm, or in a corporate in-house role.
- Good knowledge of Swiss tax business models, processes, requirements, and regulations, or a strong willingness and ability to build this knowledge quickly.
- Fluent English required, German is beneficial
- Demonstrated experience in tax compliance and finance filings.
- Exposure to tax technology solutions and an affinity for technical tools, or a strong willingness to learn and develop in this area.
- Ability to contribute to tax workshops and support the management of transformation projects (including planning, coordination, and follow-up), with the ambition to grow into leading workstreams over time.
- Solid project coordination skills with a focus on client service, teamwork, and meeting deadlines.
- Interest in business development activities (e.g. drafting proposals, preparing pitch materials); prior experience is an asset but not essential.
- Strong relationship-building skills and an interest in staying current on the impact of tax legislation on clients' operations.
