Head of Automation & Electrical Engineering 80-100%

In this key position, you will assume overall responsibility for the areas of automation, electrical engineering, and electrical assembly. Together with your team, you will ensure the successful implementation of demanding customer projects and actively shape the technological development of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership and further development of the areas of automation, electrical engineering, electrical assembly, and development
• Responsibility for staff and resource planning 
• Ensuring the successful implementation of demanding customer projects from the concept phase to commissioning
• Guaranteeing quality, deadlines, and cost-effectiveness
• Further development of standards, processes, and methods in engineering
• Promotion of innovations as well as evaluation of new technologies and solutions
• Close collaboration with sales, project management, design, production, and service

Profile:

• Technical basic training with further education in electrical engineering, automation, or systems engineering (HF/FH)
• Several years of experience in machinery or plant engineering and project business
• Sound knowledge in automation, electrical engineering, programming (Siemens TIA), and electrical assembly
• Leadership experience and enjoyment in developing employees
• Entrepreneurial, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
• Communicative personality with assertiveness and team orientation
• Very good German and good English skills
