As a Construction Logistics Team Leader, you will take on a key role together with the site manager at our construction site in Bern and work closely with the most important partners on site.
Project employment until the end of December 2029 with the option of a permanent contract.
Your main tasks
- Together with the site manager, you are responsible for all logistics matters on the construction site and ensure the smooth running of construction site logistics
- You promote professional communication and collaboration with all subcontractors and act as the central contact person for craftsmen, contractors and other project participants on site
- You coordinate the workflows on the construction site and at the installation areas and ensure optimal site operations as well as well-thought-out supply and disposal logistics
- You lead the construction logistics team on site and work closely with the site manager
- You participate in construction meetings and represent the concerns of construction logistics to site management and contractors
- You implement the construction logistics requirements and support their continuous optimisation
- You monitor compliance with logistics, safety and order regulations on the construction site
Your requirements
- Completed basic training (EFZ) in main or secondary construction trades or in a craft profession
- Initial experience in leading or coordinating small teams, for example as a foreman, group leader or team leader
- Ideally experience in construction site or construction logistics or a strong interest in organisational processes on construction sites
- Strong communication skills and confident appearance towards contractors, craftsmen and site management
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form
- Confidence in using digital tools (MS Office, logistics platforms)
- Valid forklift licence R1 required
- Advantageous are a driving licence category C, a crane licence category A as well as licences R4 (telehandler) or M3 (wheel loader)
