Deputy Cantonal Pharmacist

For the Graubünden Public Health Office, we are looking for a deputy cantonal pharmacist starting February 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Tasks
- Substitutes and supports the cantonal pharmacist in all tasks.
- Advises the Public Health Office on matters related to therapeutic agents and acts as a liaison between professional associations and the Public Health Office. Responds to specialist questions related to therapeutic agents and pharmaceutical topics competently, understandably, and appropriately for the target group.
- Independently processes applications for operating licenses for businesses dealing with therapeutic agents (pharmacies, drugstores, private pharmacies of doctors and dentists, as well as hospitals and clinics) and for licenses to practice as pharmacists and druggists, ensuring their issuance.
- Conducts basic and specific inspections in businesses operating with therapeutic agents, monitors the management of narcotics, and takes on additional tasks in the market surveillance sector.
- Registers and evaluates special pharmaceutical preparations and their manufacture according to good manufacturing practice rules.
- In case of crisis, collaborates with competent offices to ensure the supply of medicines.
What we expect from you
- You hold a university degree as a pharmacist (Swiss state exam / recognized diploma)
- Your several years of professional experience preferably include activities in hospital pharmacies, the pharmaceutical industry, or administration.
- Your strong understanding of legal and administrative issues helps you comprehend complex relationships and act solution-oriented.
- You are a team- and service-oriented person, able to work independently, comfortable presenting in front of others, and possess good social skills.
- You express yourself confidently and skillfully in writing and have excellent computer skills.
- Ideally, you know the canton of Graubünden and master several cantonal languages.
