The activities are varied within the Technical Services Office of the City of Morges! To complete a dynamic team, the City of Morges offers a position for:
Civil Engineer,
Project Manager 80 to 100%
As a project manager, you will take charge of missions that are both exciting and strategic, at the heart of our environmental commitment and our vision for sustainable urban development. You will thus have the opportunity to fully invest yourself and showcase the extent of your skills in the following projects:
- securing and renaturing the Morges: Limiting flood risks by redesigning the banks and strengthening hydraulic resilience;
- PGEE: Adapting the water evacuation strategy to environmental challenges and climate change;
- various surface, road, and underground infrastructure development projects: contributing to the improvement of the living environment for the people of Morges.
Main tasks:
- conduct studies and project implementations, collaborating transversally with other municipal services;
- supervise the work of contractors for the development and execution of municipal works;
- ensure the proper integration of the Municipality's policies in all projects: afforestation and greening strategies, soft mobility, climate plan;
- establish calls for tenders for engineering mandates or companies in compliance with legislation.
We are looking for:
- HES engineer in civil engineering, or geomatics with experience in public works, or equivalent training;
- pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset, negotiation skills;
- significant experience in managing hydraulic infrastructure projects;
- skills in hydraulic modeling, risk diagnostics, ecological impact studies, an asset;
- strong sensitivity to sustainable development: you are motivated by a project that combines natural protection, population engagement, and urban planning;
- good interpersonal skills, ability to mobilize stakeholders (public services, engineering offices, associations);
- good writing skills.
