With Microsoft Fabric, we at SN Energie AG are creating a central data warehouse that consolidates data from production, trading, evu solutions.ch, finance, and sales. With Power BI, we make this data transparent and easy to use as a basis for well-founded, data-driven decisions throughout the company. As a developer, you actively shape this data platform and thus influence how we will use data in the future.
Your main tasks
- Operation, maintenance, and further development of the Microsoft Fabric environment (Lakehouse, pipelines, notebooks)
- Development of ETL/ELT pipelines from heterogeneous source systems (REST APIs, databases, flat files)
- Development and maintenance of semantic models and Power BI reports (DirectLake, import mode)
- Gathering and prioritising business requirements from various departments together with project management
- Depending on profile: prospective assumption of the product owner role for the data platform
Profile
- Completed education (HF/FH/university) in business informatics, data science, computer science, or comparable qualification
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (pipelines, notebooks, Lakehouse, semantic models) and Power BI (DAX, semantic modelling)
- Experience with Python or PySpark as well as SQL (T-SQL or Spark SQL)
- Experience with REST API integrations and handling Azure DevOps is an advantage
- Analytical competence and interest in requirements engineering is an advantage
- Good German language skills
