About the job
The Centre for Dental Medicine at the University of Zurich is one of the four university dental centres in Switzerland and comprises five clinics, a research institute, as well as a central administration. The centre employs around 380 staff members.The Clinic for Orthodontics and Paediatric Dentistry has several focal points: it serves the training and further education of dentists in orthodontics (diagnosis and appliance treatment of dental and jaw misalignments in people of all ages) and in paediatric dentistry (complementing paediatric care for special diagnostics in the oral area, for children with dental injuries, disabilities or severe general illnesses). For patients with malformations or other complex problems, it offers specialised care in close cooperation with other clinics of the Centre for Dental Medicine, the University Hospital and the University Children’s Hospital.
For the senior physician’s practice and the patients of the professor in the Orthodontics Department of our clinic, we are looking for a committed individual.

Tasks
- Chairside assistance, patient care
- Patient administration: patient registration, service recording, appointment coordination
- Maintenance and archiving of patient records - digital
- Ensuring practice hygiene
- Supervision of trainees
Profile
You have completed training as a Dental Assistant EFZ and have several years of professional experience. Knowledge of orthodontic treatment procedures is an advantage. You are proactive, courteous and enjoy working in a large team. Thanks to your friendly and patient manner, you care for our patients, who come from various cultures, with empathy and a strong service orientation.
