Introducing the Psychiatric Services Thurgau
The Outpatient Adult Psychiatry (AEP), together with the Psychiatric Clinic Münsterlingen (PKM), is responsible for the psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care of the adult population in Thurgau. We treat over 7,500 patients annually and offer specialised outpatient, outreach and day clinic services in Münsterlingen, Weinfelden, Kreuzlingen, Frauenfeld and Romanshorn. Certified Nurse for the Dementia Advisory Centre Diessenhofen
From 1 January 2027, dementia counselling in Diessenhofen will be managed under the umbrella of the new Specialist Centre for Ageing and Dementia. With an outreach advisory service, you will be where people need support: at their homes, in their familiar environment or at the specialist centre. You will accompany affected individuals and their relatives individually, strengthen their resources and help to find suitable solutions for everyday life together.You will take on
- Advising and supporting people with dementia and their relatives
- Professional support and guidance in different phases of dementia
- Assessment of individual needs and development of appropriate support services
- Information and advice on relief, support and care options
- Networking and collaboration with relatives, general practitioners, home care services, institutions and other specialist centres
- Coordination and mediation of suitable services and offers
- Promotion of independence, quality of life and social participation of affected people
- Participation in the establishment and further development of the new Specialist Centre for Ageing and Dementia
You bring with you
- Diploma as a certified nurse HF or FH
- Solid expertise and practical experience in dealing with people with dementia
- Experience in counselling, support and working with relatives is an advantage
- High social competence as well as a respectful and empathetic attitude
- Independent, reliable and solution-oriented working style
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and networking
- Willingness to actively shape and further develop a new specialist centre
- Good communication and counselling skills
- Own car and driving licence category B are mandatory
