Basic Function

Ensure the operation of lifts through regular maintenance work and repair work in the Geneva region.

Responsibilities

• Optimise and ensure daily rounds of visits and inspections
• Carry out regular maintenance work on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic lift components within the assigned service area, in accordance with the maintenance manual
• Identify and propose repair and improvement work (T & CC) to the supervisor
• Identify and order the necessary spare parts references
• Carry out "Short Circuit" (CC) repair work
• Use troubleshooting, diagnostic and configuration tools
• Diagnose and resolve a fault
• Release people trapped in the lift
• Know where/systems to find technical information
• Ensure a regular on-call service

Other

• Ensure compliance with and conformity to the company absolutes (safety, ethics, and quality) and all current policies, procedures, rules, standards and fundamentals
• Guarantee the confidentiality of the information provided

Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in the electrical field or equivalent, ideally with several years of experience in the lift sector
• To guarantee availability during on-call service, it is essential that the employee resides in the work region
• Knowledge of the French language is essential
• A valid driving licence for Switzerland is required
