We are looking for a Strategic Buyer Construction / Construction Services to further develop our global procurement activities and strategically manage demanding construction projects.

What tasks will you take on?
You will:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for construction services, focusing on cost optimisation and risk management.
- Be responsible for project procurement for strategic investments in new build, conversion, and refurbishment projects.
- Manage the entire procurement process – from requirement notification to invoice verification, including negotiations and contract design.
- Act as the central contact person for procurement issues at our global production sites.
- Develop, manage, and evaluate the supplier portfolio based on performance, quality, and reliability.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and actively support site planning.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction, facility management, or a comparable qualification with further training in procurement.
- Bring at least 5 years of experience in procurement, ideally in construction services and project management in an international environment.
- Possess sound knowledge of RFI/RFP processes as well as in the investment environment (CapEx); SIA knowledge is an advantage.
- Work analytically, structured, and confidently coordinate several projects in parallel.
- Communicate convincingly and confidently in German and English; French skills are an advantage.
- Act independently, proactively, and keep an overview even under time pressure.
