For the Radioanalytics Decommissioning group in the Radiation Protection and Safety department, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Analytical-chemical processing of samples from decommissioning as well as from nuclear facilities (analysis of actinides, activation and fission products)
- Processing of quarterly samples for external emission monitoring (wastewater, exhaust air)
- Processing of special samples from external clients (wipe tests, special samples)
- Ensuring laboratory operations: placing orders for laboratory supplies, maintaining testing and operating equipment, and preparing consumables (e.g., chemicals)
- Performing alpha, beta, and gamma spectrometric analyses, as well as measurements using proportional counters including maintenance of these devices
- Evaluation and preparation of internal test reports as well as quarterly/special reports for external clients
- Participation in sampling campaigns at external clients
Your profile
- Training as a chemical laboratory technician
- Several years of practical experience in radionuclide analytics
- Experience in the analysis of radionuclides in various matrices
- Experience in handling and maintaining analytical instruments
- Experience working in an accredited environment
- Good German and English skills
