Railway Operations Agent - (M/F/N)

Job Purpose / Reason for the Position:

• The railway operations agent contributes to the smooth functioning of rail activities (2 teams shift) to achieve operational objectives according to the daily program, in compliance with HSEQ rules, and he/she must ensure the maneuvering movements and the management of wagons according to the site's needs.

Responsibilities

• Checks the vehicle (locomotive or rail/road vehicle) at the start of the shift
• Manages the trains according to the PCT regulations of the Federal Office of Transport (labeling, securing wagons, etc.)
• Helps keep the railway infrastructure and rolling stock clean and in good condition
• Reports any events and anomalies observed on vehicles and the rail network
• Collaborates closely with production operators for the placement and withdrawal of wagons on the platforms/pits

• Ai40 license required, A40 license an asset
• CFC in a technical field or equivalent, ideally CFC of railway operations agent 
• Knowledge of computer tools (Microsoft Office)
• Fluent in French
