Specialist in Control and Monitoring Systems

These are your tasks

• Responsible for adjustments in the process control system (PCS) during new construction, conversion, and expansion projects, and planning new plant components and process steps

• Plan and implement small to complex control and automation projects in our power plant facilities

• Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical and electronic controls

• Carry out maintenance, optimisation, and renewal work on PCS, PLC controls, and power electronics

• Support, parameterise, and configure plant-specific hardware and software

• Maintain documentation and operating instructions and contribute to the continuous improvement of the plants

• Provide on-call service (4-6 times per year)

This is what sets you apart

• Basic training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) as an automation technician, electronics technician, or electrical installer, ideally with further training as an automation specialist or in measurement, control, and regulation technology

• Experience in automation, measurement, control, and regulation technology or strong interest in learning the field

• Enjoy systematic fault finding and technical challenges in complex plants

• Knowledge of PLC, process control, or automation systems (e.g. Siemens, ABB 800xA) as well as IT and OT infrastructures is an advantage

• Independent and solution-oriented working style as well as enjoyment of teamwork and collaboration with various partners
