Chief Physician Vascular Surgery (a)

This is what the professional everyday life looks like

As Chief Physician in Vascular Surgery, you are jointly responsible for the care of our patients at the Liestal and Bruderholz locations. This includes:

• Running your own clinics and actively participating in the daily operating programme
• Clinical care of inpatients in vascular surgery and co-care of patients in the Heart, Vascular & Thorax Centre as well as the Intensive Care Unit/IMC
• Supervision and training of assistant physicians in a recognised B-clinic (vascular surgery)
• Participation in the on-call service of vascular surgery
• Active involvement in internal and external training events

Competences and potential

• Completed specialist title in vascular surgery with several years of professional experience
• Sound knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases
• Understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration
• Enjoyment in training assistant physicians
• Strong team spirit and communication skills
• Sense of responsibility as well as a high degree of initiative
