Hello,
I am Marie Aguirre, recently graduated as a Montessori assistant AMI 3-6 years (IFMM). The Montessori pedagogy resonates deeply with my vision of the child, their support, and my personal values. To further this approach, I will begin a training to become a Montessori educator 3-6 years at ISMM in July 2025, in a hybrid format.
My path to education is nourished by a previous academic and professional background in cognitive developmental neuroscience. I obtained a doctorate, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship on the early skills of young children to evaluate the relevance of information and to protect themselves from misinformation.
I have always been passionate about child development, and I am committed to revealing their potential in a caring, structured, and respectful environment.
Bilingual in English and French, I completed my entire academic journey in English-speaking environments and validated several language tests (TOEFL, TOEIC).
I am recognized for my organization, calmness, kindness, rigor, listening and observation skills, and adaptability. I place great importance on collaboration, teamwork, and contributing to a harmonious learning environment.
Based in Lausanne, I am available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (childcare days ensured), and I can easily travel by public transport or car.
I would be delighted to discuss with you about joining a team at the start of the school year – or to support you in occasional replacements.
See you soon,
Marie Aguirre
