Job Description
For our production site in Monthey, we are looking for a CFC polymechanic apprentice!
The first two years of practical courses will take place at the Intercantonal Professional School of Chemistry in Monthey. The last two years will take place within Syngenta.
During the apprenticeship, the apprentice manufactures parts, makes tools and devices in metal or other materials. Their tasks include preventive maintenance, machine overhauls, troubleshooting, and ensuring the reliability of industrial equipment.
More specifically:
- Establish the list of necessary materials and supplies;
- Estimate the time required for production;
- Manufacture the different parts of a prototype;
- Assemble and check the operation;
- Write the system's user manual;
- Control the quality of the produced parts;
- Verify the installation;
- Maintain and repair machines and equipment.
