Head of Project Development (m/f/d) 80–100%
Your Tasks
- Identification (through acquisition or cooperation) and evaluation of new opportunities for development projects in the field of renewable energies
- Leadership and coordination of M&A and cooperation processes as well as the associated due diligence activities
- Development of these projects up to realisation with ongoing review of profitability and ensuring target achievement
- Sale of development projects
- Management of project companies
- Further development and standardisation of project development processes with a focus on clear role separation (RASCI)
- Technical and personnel leadership of the project development organisational unit
Your Qualities
- Successfully completed studies in engineering or economics, ideally complemented by an additional qualification in the other field
- Proven many years of experience in financial management of projects and project portfolios, including responsibility for budget planning, OPEX/CAPEX control, profitability analyses and benchmarking
- Technical knowledge of planning, construction and operation of infrastructures
- Experience in developing energy generation projects in an international environment
- Proven leadership experience or success in managing larger projects (including conflict management)
- Fluent German and business fluent English
