Job description
As part of your role, you assess the psychological functioning of patients and manage their difficulties. You develop appropriate care plans, create intervention and prevention activities, thus contributing to proactive care.
In your activities, you work interdisciplinarily with medical and nursing teams, medical-therapeutic staff, and actively participate in interdisciplinary rehabilitation meetings.
In collaboration with your psychologist colleagues, you organise therapies and the distribution of units to cover.
You supervise psychologists in postgraduate psychotherapy training, initiate and collaborate on teaching and research activities related to the Clinic’s interests.
Ultimately, you develop an outpatient psychotherapy activity.
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in psychology, a federal psychotherapist title, and a practice licence for the canton of Valais (or are completing psychotherapy training and have at least 1 year of practical experience in an ISFM-recognised psychiatric and psychotherapeutic institution).
With 6 years of practical experience, you have an interest in psychosomatic hospital rehabilitation and wish to contribute to the development of the Psychology Service.
